Asher Thal-nir is an artist who lives and works in Somerville, Massachusetts. Pangea
Juan Antonio Nieto is a sound artist who signs some of his works under the name of Pangea. His records have been published in record companies around the world as Trente Oiseaux, Mandorla, Experimedia, Impulsive Habitat, Idiosyncratics, AMP, among others. Pangea has collaborated with some of the most prestigious avant-garde artists of the world, including Brazilian classical composer Leo Alves Vieira who has worked with string quartets and choirs, the Japanese writer Kenji Siratori has been the voice of his compositions and David Velez, the latter work was considered the best album of 2007 by the journal Earlabs. His m & ame; as rhythms and abstract, is an artist fond of experimental error, deep atmospheres and noise that cause the mixture of the above, makes a beautiful soundscape full of ambient drone. In his presentation live improvisation is one of the forms of expression that are mixed with silence.
